upcoming.org is a really sweet idea - a collaborative event calendar, driven by the users. You can enter upcoming events in your home town, and see what others have entered, and syndicate everything on your web site. It reminds me of
del.icio.us (
my del.icio.us links) - a small, functional, do-one-thing-do-it-well, web standards complient kind of web site. I like. Now, if only more people in Uppsala would join!
(Btw, it's only partly my fault that the metro "Uppsala" is in the state/province "Uppsala", instead of "Uppland". Hmm. Should maybe fix.)
If you live in
New York City, there's all sorts of really fun stuff happening in that event calendar. Grr. Not fair.
