Hello Simon,
I’m at the library in Mariehman and decided to look up residents of Uppsala, where I am headed, at hospitalityclub.org—you were the first person listed. Since you speak English and are into fair trade (Hurrah! I wish our horrible president felt the same!), I figured I’d write.
I will be heading that way tomorrow, after I take the ferry to Grisslehamn. I may not arrive until Friday, however. Will you be around? I would love a floor to sleep on (the Euro/US exchange rate is horrible!), but a tour of town would be nice too!
My name is Erin. I live in California, about two hours north of San Francisco, and am travelling alone with my far too-heavy backpack. I managed to hitchhike this far after flying into Helsinki one week ago, with stops in Turku, its island archipelago, and now Aland. On to Sweden, now!
